still trudging through Nursing school. Right now I’m working an overnight shift and in my down time on nights I try to work on homework assignments. Honestly, I think the way to make it through nursing school is to not be an overachiever. You don’t have to get A+’s in everything to be a good nurse. Even though I do get A+’s, I don’t push myself or focus just on that. Give yourself time and patience, practice A LOT of self care, go into school with a good handle on who you are as a person. Set boundaries with your friends and family, but always schedule time for them. The program is DEMANDING. You’ll make a lot of friends and it’ll be one of the hardest/best time of your life.
